ALTAIR is the first native 32-bit mail processor designed exclusively for the Windows 95 and Windows NT platforms. ALTAIR is a Fidonet- compatible mail processor that supports the JAM(mbp), Squish, *. MSG, and PCboard 14.5 message base formats. Integrated AreaMgr functions also serve to help those who act as mail hubs for message networks. ALTAIR includes support for creating a Blue Wave(tm)-compatible mail packet for the sysop. Intuitive Vision Computer Services has announced that they will begin to distribute the ALTAIR package effective immediately, and that it will be available shortly via their World Wide Web server and anonymous FTP server .
